MILK AND SOY ALLERGY ALERT
April 2, 2009

Unified Grocers is recalling “Mariegold Baking 9 Grain Bread, “Mariegold
Baking Wheat Bread,” and “Marigold Baking White Bread” due to undeclared
milk and soy.

The products were distributed to independently-owned grocery stores in
Arizona, southern California, and Nevada.

The product code date is found on the plastic tab that is used to close
the bag. All code dates prior to Apr. 9, 2009 are being recalled for the
following products:

Mariegold Baking 9 Grain bread – 32-oz. package with UPC 0-25202-78031

Mariegold Baking Wheat Bread – 16-oz. package with UPC 0-25202-10202

Mariegold Baking Wheat Bread – 24-oz. package with UPC 0-25202-78012

Mariegold Baking White Bread – 16-oz. package with UPC 0-25202-10201

Mariegold Baking White Bread – 24-oz. package with UPC 0-25202-78011

Mariegold Baking White Bread – 32-oz. package with UPC 0-25202-78034

Consumers may return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.
